I wanted to take a course in QB, but I could not afford several hundred dollars, so, I did some research on training aids and found this to be the best bang for my buck and no gimmicks. I have never used QB and being new to bookkeeping in general, I found this to be easy to comprehend and follow (with or without a full-running copy to follow along with).
It covers the basics of accounting principles and the basic functions (common tasks) of QB. In my case, this was all I needed to apply for a job which required QB...
I am satisfied.

This learning tool is very simple, very clear and well produced. Obviously designed for people who know little or nothing about QuickBooks. It is a very good introduction to QuickBooks.

I used to use a spreadsheet to track my expenses and thought I had a pretty good handle on things. Then my mentor convinced me to get Quickbooks. It took me a bit to get the feel for the program and get all my data entered, but when I did I wanted to cry. Quickbooks opened my eyes to some of the drains and strains on my business. This program has given me the tools I need to make sure that I keep my costs in check and my profits in my pockets.

This version is very basic. If you know nothing about quickbooks it may help. I felt as if it was a starting point to sell you the the more advanced version. If i had it to do again I would skip to the next version and not purchase this one
