HP iQ775 Dec 27, 2007
By Jerusha McDonald Great product. The touch screen is amazing. Being able to click directly on a link--should have been thought of earlier! Within a few hours, I was used to using the touch screen instead of the mouse.
The overall look of the computer is amazing. The amount of space it requires on my desk is great. Previously, I had a 17" flat-screen monitor with my CPU on the floor. This does have a bigger footprint than just a screen; however, not having the bulky CPU on the floor is worth it. Access to connectivity center is handy. Plugging stuff into the back of the machine is a little hard since it is the entire unit you have to get around...but you're only back there once in a while. Not only did this machine get rid of my CPU, it replaced an external DVD burner, an external bluetooth usb hub as well as a card reader and speakers. I ended up with a lot of extra space at my desk.
I have only had this since Christmas with not a lot of time to use it. But so far, it is fast. It wakes up from sleep mode really fast. The keyboard is right next to the machine on my desk and I have no problems with it. I have a Logitech bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse that I was thinking of switching to this one...because of prior bad reviews...but haven't as of yet because what was provided with the machine seems to be doing well.
I love the touch screen interface. You will too.

Cool machine.. . Feb 19, 2008
By Robert This computer is a lot of fun and easy to use, the touch screen adds a new dimension which can make games more interesting and increases ones overall level of interactivity with the machine. The multiple ports make for great versatility and TV, calendar increase placement options; it is great for the kitchen environment. The built in wireless connection is easy to use, the wireless keyboard works well and I haven't had the problems described with the IQ770. The computer was at first a little slow moving - especially when booting up and Vista would hang if I wanted a complete shutdown. So I spent about $125 and upgraded the memory to 4 mb (Kingston) and it now moves MUCH faster (Vista is a memory hog) and, amazingly, Vista now will shut down quickly w/o hassles!! Overall it's quite cool, I'm sure Apple will answer it soon but for windows users it's sort of a breakthrough in imagination and originality.

Great Computer Feb 07, 2008
By The Ween I recently purchased this computer and I'm very happy with it. It's fun to use and makes computing a whole new experience again. The touchscreen is a great and can even be used online and with gaming. My Pogo experience got a whole lot better! lol
The only thing that I find hard to get used to is the keyboard is a little smaller than I'm used to. Some of the keys are compact and in different places on the board. For example, the right shift key is the same size as a regular letter key and at times I miss it entirely while typing. Once I get used to it, I'm sure it will be fine.
If you want a computer that doesn't take up alot of space and is very fun to use, I couldn't recommend this one higher.
Enjoy!

Best Computer out there for your money Mar 24, 2008

We first purchased the HP IQ770... That was a great start but while we were at the store I found this model. The next computer that we purchased was the 775. We purchased 3 of them, they are for our business. We love them. They are easy to use. After having the problems with the keyboard on the 770 I invested in a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard but found that I didn't really need it with the 775. I like it better then the condensed keyboard, but it doesn't tuck away like the keyboard that came with the computer.
We also love the option of being able to watch and record tv with our computer.
If you are looking for something new, definitely give this a try. You will soon find that you are trying to touch every screen that you come to :)
